“Warriors” of My G7 Class

The Warriors book series has always been a source of inspiration for me, sparking my imagination and creativity. In 7th grade, my teacher, Mr. Eric, noticed my talent for drawing as I immersed myself in the series. He challenged me to reimagine our class of 15 students, including himself, as cats inspired by their unique personalities. I created 15 digital portraits, each capturing the key trait of my classmates and teacher through my artistic lens. Seeing my work displayed on our classroom wall for the entire school year was one of my proudest moments in Shanghai American School. This project shows how art can bring stories and personalities to life.
